Welcome to our blog. We, Samuel Geaney-Moore and Jack Amadeo, will comment on various topics. For Jack, these topics are likely to include technology, math/physics, internet culture, economics, and unicorns. For Sam, these topics are politics, both domestic and international, and history. And unicorns, of course. We will also write about our respective universities, Georgetown (Sam), and NYU (Jack).

The title of this blog reflects the importance of the cities in which we live – Jack lives in New York, the capital of American commerce and culture, while Sam lives in DC, the capital of American political life. Also, the actual capital of the United States.
